Jack StandはJack Kerouac の旅と自由な精神にを捧げられた特別なジャケットです。

Kerouacは、目的地を求めたのではなく、移動(放浪)することそのものの中に意味を探した作家です。

放浪とカウンターカルチャーの思想は、社会のルールに縛られず、今この瞬間を爆発させようと生きる熱量が、ボブディランをはじめとするミュージシャンや世界中の旅人たちにインスピレーションを与えました。

Fabric 36_E “Reef” は、Season XVIと同じエクリュ経糸で織られていますが、今回は黒のリネンと細いエクリュリネンという2色の糸によって構造が中断されています。

その姿は、澄み切った水辺の浅く透明な色彩が、光を透かす水のように生地の構造を美しく際立っています。

ジャケット全体に現れる格子状の構造は、一見秩序を保つ様でいて、目を凝らすと不規則な揺らぎを感じる不思議なジャケットです。

The Jack stand jacket is a special piece dedicated to the journey and free spirit of Jack Kerouac.

Kerouac was not searching for a destination. Rather, he sought meaning within movement itself, embracing wandering as a way of life.

His philosophy of travel and counterculture inspired generations of musicians, including Bob Dylan, as well as countless travellers around the world. It celebrated a life lived intensely in the present moment, unconstrained by social expectations.

Fabric 36_E “Reef” is woven using the same ecru warp structure developed for Season XVI. This time, however, the continuity of the weave is interrupted by two contrasting threads: black linen and fine ecru linen.

Its appearance recalls the clear, shallow colours of tranquil waters, where light passes through and beautifully reveals the structure beneath.

Across the garment, a grid-like structure appears to establish order, yet closer observation reveals subtle irregularities and gentle fluctuations, creating a fascinating balance between structure and freedom.
